Mission Statement Welcome to the Friends of Shedd Park (FOSP) website.  Shedd Park has always been a friend to the citizens of Lowell and that old friend needs your help. FOSP was organized believing that Shedd Park should be to Lowell what The Commons are to Boston and what Central Park is to New York. Our intent is to organize family oriented events, to foster community enjoyment of the park and to raise funds for a new playground and sprinkler "spray-ground".
